Queen Anne's Pocket Melon
Cucumis melo
A delightful heirloom melon best known for its heavenly perfumed scent. It is said that Victorian women once carried this melon in their pockets prior to the advent of modern deodorants. The fruits have a pretty coloration, with a bright, striped surface colored yellow and orange. Flesh is white and edible, though somewhat bland.
