Passiflora nitida
A tasty, but relatively unknown passion fruit, the Bell Apple has similarities to the water lemon, with orange-yellow fruits that have a sweet, succulent pulp.

Description
A tropical Passiflora, fast-growing and vining. Flowers are blue and red, a bit like both P. laurifolia and P. quadgrangularis. The fruits grow to 4".
Hardiness
Exact hardiness is unknown, but it is tropical and should be protected from prolonged temperatures below 50-55F. Not frost hardy.
Growing Environment
Not much information is available, but it would seem to enjoy humid, tropical climates with regular water and well-drained soil.

Uses
Fruits are eaten fresh and are reportedly quite good in flavor.
