Description

Medium sized deciduous tree to 25-30ft. Many trees will retain a few leaves throughout the year. Flowering occurs during winter and spring, making it a popular ornamental that blooms when many other trees don't. Flowers are followed by 6-9" pods.

Hardiness

The orchid tree is fairly hardy and can survive to 22-25F. Sunset Zones: 13, 18-23 USDA: 10+

Growing Environment

Grow in full sun or light shade. Provide moderate water throughout the year.
