Angel's Trumpet
Brugmansia arborea
A white flowered Angel's Trumpet, known for its large trumpet-like flowers which can grow to a foot. A striking plant when in bloom---and the plant usually is in bloom!

Description
Bushy tree, generally to 6-12ft. The white flowers can appear throughout the year, though more heavily in warmer months. Flowers are followed by skinny, greenish fruits which ripen to green-yellow. The fruits are inedible and poisonous. Extracts from the plant are also considered highly poisonous.
Hardiness
Hardy to short frosts, but should be protected from hard freezes.
Growing Environment
An adaptable Brugmansia, this species is at home in tropical and subtropical environments. Grow in full sun or part-shade. Grow in well-drained soil and water regularly.
Propagation
By seeds, which should be sown in well-drained soil and kept at 65-75F. Also propagated by cuttings, which can be rooted fairly easily.
Uses
Grown as an ornamental for its quintessential tropical look. No part of this plant should ever be consumed as it is poisonous.
