Small shrub similar to the common tomato, can be grown as an annual or perennial.
Hardiness
Unknown, but probably not frost hardy.
Growing Environment
Climate requirements are probably similar to most Solanum annuals.
Propagation
By seeds, which can be slow to germinate, often taking several weeks to a few months.
Uses
Uses are similar to common tomato. Leaves are eaten as salad greens. In Fiji, legend has it that among cannibal tribes, the cannibal's tomato was regarded as the perfect sauce for the consumption of human flesh, but we're not about to test this out.
Native Range
Native to the South Pacific Fijian islands.
