Aiphanes aculeata
A red fruited palm, with round fruits that grow to a little under an inch across. Flesh is scant, but with a mildly sweet flavor and is supposedly quite high in vitamin A.

Description
A medium sized palm tree growing to 15-30 feet high. Grows well in warm climates, with wet and dry seasons. Fairly uncommon in its wild range.
